GymLeb Account & Data Deletion

If you’ve used the GymLeb mobile app or web portal and want to delete your account and associated data, this page explains the options available to you and what happens to your data when you delete your account.

1. Delete your account from inside the app (recommended)

If you still have access to the GymLeb app, this is the fastest and most reliable way to delete your account:

1. Open the GymLeb app.

2. Go to Profile → Manage Account.

3. Tap Delete Account.

4. Confirm the deletion.

Once confirmed, your account will be permanently deleted as described in the “What we delete” section below.

2. Request deletion without the app (via email)

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot log in, you can request deletion by email:

1. Send an email to info@gym-leb.com with the subject: “Account deletion request – GymLeb”.

2. Include the following information:

- The email address or username you used for your GymLeb account

- Your full name

- The gym or business you are associated with (if applicable)

We will process your request and delete your account within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days, except where we are required by law or contracts to keep certain data for longer.

3. What we delete

When your GymLeb account is deleted, we delete or anonymize, as applicable:

- Your login account (credentials and authentication data).

- Your personal profile information stored with your GymLeb account (such as name and contact details).

- Your app preferences and settings.

- Active sessions and authentication tokens.

This applies both to in-app deletion and deletion requested via email, once the request is confirmed and processed.

4. What we may keep (and why)

Some data cannot be immediately deleted because it is needed for legal, security, or business reasons, for example:

- Billing and invoice records relating to your gym or business (kept for accounting and tax obligations).

- System and security logs (kept for a limited period for fraud prevention, abuse detection and security).

- For gym owners and staff using GymLeb as a business tool: the gym’s own operational data (such as members, memberships, check-in history, and financial records) may remain associated with the gym’s organization account, even if an individual user account is deleted. This operational data belongs to the gym, not to the personal login account.

Any retained data is kept only as long as necessary and handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

5. Deactivating vs deleting your account

Inside the GymLeb app, you may also see an option to Deactivate Account. It is important to understand the difference between deactivation and deletion:

Deactivate Account:

- Temporarily disables your access to the app.

- Your data and, for gym owners, your members remain in the system for your gym.

- You can usually reactivate your account by logging in again.

Delete Account:

- Permanently removes your user account from GymLeb.

- After deletion, your memberships and gym-related data may still remain as part of your gym’s organization data, but will no longer be tied to your personal login.
